This weekend is going fantastic.
Wbu? How is your weekeng going?
I have had a productive 4 day week.
And got a lot done.
Things are working out in my favour now.
The Golden Strategy is working.
I am getting consistent inbound leads.
I won’t talk about the quality of those leads.
Still 2-3 daily inbound leads are good.
I have secured a few hot leads.
I will probably close them in the next week.
And the major of this success goes to this Sunday Growth Diaries.
It has kept me on track whenever I got sidetracked.
And the goal behind this whole series was to:
👉 Keep track of my journey
👉 Document my processes
👉 Plan for the next week
And most importantly share my journey with my subscribers.
✔️ The decisions I’ve made in the past week
✔️ The hurdles I’ve jumped
✔️ The lessons learned along the way
As another week on my journey to 1 million subscribers wraps up.
Here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes at The Notion Millionaire.
Three things are on my mind.
Delegation. Outsourcing. Team building.
I cannot truly build a big business if I can’t learn these 3 skills.
They are very important.
They are the building blocks of my new business model.
Where I will be focusing on things that I am really good at. And delegate the rest.
Because at the moment, I have 5-6 offerings:
- Coaching
- Consultation
- Bundles (ebooks & templates)
- Newsletter
- Upcoming course
And all of these require a significant amount of my team.
Not to mention my full-fledged agency – The Copy Studios.
Client work. Client communication. Client management.
They also require a lot of my time.
I am amazed at myself.
How am I managing all of this??
This might be one of the reasons, my growth is very slow.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Another thing that my Golden Strategy has highlighted is that my key tracking metric is a vanity metric.
It’s not about how many people see my content.
It’s about my CTR.
How many people are going to my website?
So, I had to redesign and adjust my whole funnel.
Let’s see how that goes.
We will audit this in the next week.
Today, let’s audit my previous week.
Weekly Overview
This week’s focus was on engagements and deploying my Golden Strategy.
From Monday to Thursday, I was religiously dedicated to this.
And for the past 2 days, I have been measuring the impact of this strategy.
Target vs Reality
- The goal for the week: Connect with my audience and deploy the Golden Strategy.
- What we achieved: I was able to deploy the Golden strategy and engaged with my audience a lot. And I started getting inbound leads for my offers. Which is great.
I have to figure out my sales cycle now.
For that, I need more time and more data.
In The Spotlight
The following things are living in my mind right now:
- I am still not viral on Twitter
- Smooth onboarding system for my inbound leads
- The Copy Studios (deployment pending)
- My shop (Almost ready)
Our shop should’ve have been live today.
But unfortunately, my designer messed up a little bit.
He jacked up our website with so many things.
But there was no UX in that.
So, I had to restore the backup to make the website live again to its previous condition.
Such hurdles are normal when launching a website.
Things I am on top of right now:
- 1:1 coaching for freelancers
- 1:1 consulting for agency owners
- Upwork has resolved my issue
Things are looking good right now.
Let’s see what next week will bring in.
Strategic Insights
Network with your competitors.
You will learn a lot of new things going on in your industry.
I got the best advice when I networked with my peers and competitors.
The market is so big right now that no one can dominate.
So, there is no need to have enmity with your competitors when you can benefit each other.
Plus, always give away as much value as you can.
And don’t expect anything back.
When you have no expectations, whatever you get back, it will be more than enough for you.
Lesson Learnt
Lesson # 1 – Never burn boats with your previous employers.
I made this mistake twice.
Whenever I leave a job, I have done so in a way that has ruined my relationship with my employer.
Now, I cannot go back to them.
If I hadn’t done this, I would get a lot of value and benefits.
Lesson # 2 – The right people are your biggest assets. Don’t lose them.
Finding good people is very hard.
Especially in the field of marketing.
So, if you find the right person, don’t let that person go.
This should be a life lesson as well.
If you find the right person, retain that person.
Upwork Quiz Update
I won’t be able to create an Upwork Quiz until my shop is up and running.
Until then, this task is pending.
Although it will play a crucial role in helping people determine which of my products are best suited for their needs.
Content Audit
It’s been a few weeks since I audited my content.
And since I have deployed my Golden strategy, it is vital that we measure its performance and impact.
LinkedIn Post
You might remember that most of my posts got like 500-700 impressions.
That is not the case anymore.
I am getting good impressions on my LinkedIn posts now.
The reasons are the following:
- Targeted content for a specific audience
- Targeted engagements (only engaging with people who are interested in Upwork)
I’m not following any influencers or so-called LinkedIn gurus.
Plus, design is playing a big role in my boosted reach.
I started using a new tool – Hypefury for my Twitter.
It got me good results.
It has a few gimmicks that do help with things.
Especially, if you are short on time like me.
Like, reposting your top-performing content at the busiest time of day.
Plugging in replies to your tweets to drive traffic to your website.
Before using hyperfury, I was stuck on tweets with 10-15 impressions per tweet.
Things changed drastically after implementing Hypefury.
Anyhow, I will be dedicating more time to Twitter from now on.
So, I will be doing everything myself.
I might not use Hypefury that much.
That is all from my side.
See you tomorrow.
Excited about next week.
Good things are coming.
Hold your ground.
Adios,
