Today’s issue planning was the most difficult one.
There were so many requests.
And I can only work on a handful of things every week.
So, for this issue, I have decided to share the following with you:
- Outreach guide along with CRM.
- How to close clients on call.
- Next Actions template (as promised)
- Social Media Content OS
- Client Portal
Things that are postponed for next week:
- A complete guide on building partnerships on LinkedIn.
- Value validation project guide
However, I feel that my outreach is incomplete with the Value Validation Project.
Unfortunately, it will have to wait.
I want you to absorb this week’s resources first.
Featured Guide: The Rare Art Of Engaging Potential Clients Through DM
When I first started on LinkedIn, I would send hundreds of DMs every week.
Some people would show interest, some people would say no.
And most people would ignore it.
I did not give up. I kept at it.
Sending cold DMs.
It wasn’t until 2021, that I realized that people get annoyed by cold DMs.
Or, Pitches in the first message.
And I realized this when I started my agency.
I would get DMs from people, pitching their services.
And I hated them.
Because:
- I was busy and exhausted, so I didn’t want to bother myself with someone who would keep on pitching me something without highlighting my problems.
- I had no trust in them.
- It felt copy pasted.
So, I decided to find a new approach to this.
And I found that building a relationship is the key to this.
And it takes a whole lot more than just DMing people.
As freelancers and agency owners, expanding your client base is crucial.
In this digital age, social media stands out as a powerful tool.
The sole reason for writing this eBook is to give you a systematic approach to harnessing social media effectively.
Whether you’re an experienced freelancer or managing a growing agency, the strategies here will elevate your outreach efforts.
This guide cuts through the noise with targeted, efficient strategies.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
- Choosing the Right Platforms: Identify which social media platforms best suit your business needs.
- Tailoring Your Approach: Understand the nuances of each platform to optimize your strategies.
- Crafting Effective Messages: Learn to write messages that resonate and engage your target audience.
- Building a Reputable Presence: Establish trust and authority within your industry on social media.
- Mastering Direct Messaging: Convert contacts into clients with compelling direct communication.
- From Outreach to Conversion: Step-by-step tactics to turn initial contacts into lasting partnerships.
I have tried to explain the concepts in plain simple language.
Try to read and implement these strategies daily and keep improving based on your audience’s feedback.
Featured Notion System: Social Media Content OS
I am greedy.
Especially when it comes to helping my audience.
I want to give away as much value as possible.
And that is why, I have to be present on every social media that my audience hangs out.
Unfortunately, this approach leads to burnout.
I made the fatal mistake of thinking that my energy could be constant so I could be on multiple social media channels at once.
It was a disaster. None of my posts were getting any significant impressions.
My main channel – LinkedIn dropped on me.
Impressions went from 4 figures to 3 figures.
One more thing, I am stubborn too.
So, I decided to create a social media OS in my Notion.
Add a person onboard who can help me build my presence on all social media.
Today, I am sharing the same OS that I use to manage 5 social media channels, 1 blog and 1 newsletter.
Grab it here.
Bonus Ebook – How to close clients on call
I am sleep-deprived.
While writing this article, my eyes were getting closed.
But my hands kept writing.
I tried to share all my advice to help you:
- Learn practical strategies for effective sales calls
- Client closing techniques and handling objections to boost deal-closure rates.
- Build rapport and empathize with clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Develop a structured approach to confidently propose and close deals.
- Acquire techniques for effective follow-ups that keep the client engaged and facilitate eventual deal closure.
As promised – Next Actions Notion Template
The golden principle for productivity and focus.
Getting Things Done.
I am still in the transition period of adopting this approach.
And as always, I prefer a structured approach to everything in life.
So, I created a system in Notion to help me execute more tasks in less time, without compromising my quality of work.
Next Actions.
You have to see it to believe it.
Grab yours here.
Thank Me later – Client Portal in Notion
This portal has increased my hourly rate a lot.
This is the sole reason why my service looks premium.
Even tho, it is not.
Anyhow, I use this Notion template to:
- Make my service look premium
- Leave a lasting impression on the client
- Smooth client comms
What’s brewing at TNM?
Last week, I was out of ideas for the weekly issue.
This week, I am in surplus.
Things work mysteriously.
And that big announcement is just around the corner.
Stay tuned for that.
I will give you $10 if you can figure out what that news is.
You have until tomorrow to figure that out.
Upcoming Sneak Peek – Chat with me 1:1
