Today marks the end of the first quarter for The Notion Millionaire.
I will do a quarterly audit of my newsletter.
In the past 13 weeks, my company has:
- Transitioned from service agency to media company
- P/L in red.
- I have worked on more products in this quarter than I have in my entire 10 years of marketing experience
Altho, this quarter was at a loss. But the lessons learned are enormous.
I am Thankful for such a stressful quarter.
And now, it is time for Post Traumatic Growth.
In the next quarter, I will be:
- Doubling my profit than my most profitable quarter ever.
- Tripling my team size
- Quadrupling down on my core activities
One thing is for sure, one million businesses require:
- Substantial resources (Time, money and labour)
- Sweat and blood
Here is what I have achieved in the past 90 days.
- Launched coaching
- Launched consulting
- Released 5+ books, a dozen Notion systems and templates
- Started several publications (The Notion Millionaire and The Freelance Magazine)
- Released 59 issues of my newsletter
Along with my retainer services for my $100k service agency. With 2 partners on board, we are aiming to build a 7-figure agency in 12 months.
Can this be done? Maybe.
Is it impossible? No.
That is why, we have decided to give it our best. The only metric we will be measuring is Compound Monthly Growth Rate.
What is our month-over-month growth in terms of clients, revenue and employees?
And honestly speaking, we only need 20 clients.
I have had a lot of personal realizations this quarter about myself. Such as:
- High-tempered and high-pampered kid who is used to getting what he wants
- I avoid pain instead of treating issues at their core root
- I don’t care about anyone else other than me
And these realizations made me realize that I was a horrible businessman.
So, I have decided to bring change in myself, before I can change my organization and my organization can impact in our partners’ businesses.
Apart from this, I am also shedding a lot of weight.
- Activities that are causing more harm than good
- Relationships that are causing more stress than peace
- Efforts that are liabilities instead of assets
I have grown out of my previous shell and I need to shed the old skin to grow a new one. And I must break out of this.
This is exactly the story of my media company right now.
To come out of the pupa will require great effort. And once I have put in that effort without any external help, this will turn into a beautiful butterfly.
And that my friend is where my road to million dollars begins.
What about you? Where are you with your million-dollar journey?
Excited,
Talha X
